Overview
Lempod has a built-in feature that automatically strips numbers from comments to comply with LinkedIn's content policies. This article explains how this feature works and best practices to avoid posting issues.
How Number Stripping Works
Lempod automatically removes numbers from comments in the following scenarios:
-
AI-generated comments: Numbers are automatically stripped during the generation process
-
Manually entered or pasted comments: As of our latest update, numbers are now automatically stripped from hand-entered and pasted comments before your post goes live
This feature helps ensure your content complies with LinkedIn's guidelines and maintains optimal engagement rates.

Best Practices Before Boosting
To prevent issues with your boosted posts:
-
Review your comments: Before starting a boost, carefully review all comments you've added or pasted into Lempod
-
Check for numbers: Look specifically for any numbers in your comment text, as these will be automatically removed
-
Verify formatting: Ensure your comment reads naturally even after numbers are removed
-
Test the preview: Use Lempod's preview feature to see how your comment will appear after processing
What Happens If Numbers Are Already Posted
If numbers appear in comments that have already been posted to LinkedIn:
-
Unused comments: Our team can remove numbers from comments not yet used in any posts
-
Posted comments: Unfortunately, numbers cannot be removed from comments already live on LinkedIn. You would need to delete and repost the content
