Understanding Your Yearly Plan: Credits vs. Renewal Cycle

Overview

Many customers get confused about what "yearly plan" means. We want to clarify how our yearly plans work to help you get the most value from your subscription.

The Difference: Renewal Cycle vs. Credit Balance

What "Yearly" Refers To

Your yearly plan designation refers to your billing cycle, not your credit balance. This means:

  • Your plan renews and charges automatically every 12 months

  • You receive a fresh billing period each year

  • Your subscription continues year after year on this schedule

What It Doesn't Mean

A yearly plan does NOT guarantee that your credits will last for a full 12 months. Your credits represent a usage allocation that is separate from your billing cycle.

Example: If you have a yearly plan with 10,000 credits and use heavily, you could deplete those credits in 3 months, even though your billing won't renew for another 9 months.

Why Did My Credits Run Out?

Your credit balance depends on:

  • Your usage frequency - How often you use the service

  • Your usage intensity - How much you use per transaction

  • Your plan tier - The number of credits included with your plan

Solutions: What You Can Do

Option 1: Upgrade Your Plan

If you consistently run out of credits before your renewal date, consider upgrading to a larger plan that includes more credits. This ensures you won't face interruptions.

To upgrade:

  1. Log into your account

  2. Navigate to Billing & Plans

  3. Select a higher tier plan

  4. Your new credits will be available immediately

Option 2: Monitor Your Usage

Track your credit consumption regularly to anticipate when you might run low, allowing time to plan an upgrade.

Option 3: Wait for Your Renewal

Your credits will refresh on your annual renewal date according to your billing cycle.
